设计艺术是一门艺术与科学相结合的学科,在后现代化的中国背景下从手工艺时代发展到以机械化生产为代表的设计艺术学科,经过了近一个世纪以来漫长曲折的发展历程.对于精髓的中国传统元素我们要创造性传承,力求在现代设计中有“新的体现”,同时,面对西方强势的现代文化和技术的挑战,我们要尽可能的融合,拓展中国当下设计艺术的“新文化”内涵,成熟而理性的打造中国设计艺术文化的高峰.然而在中国当下正值社会经济的转型期,不免出现奢华浮躁之风,在这里我们更要强调“现代设计回归”的观念和情怀,关注渐渐消逝的手工艺文化,关怀设计中的人文价值,富有美化生活的情怀,共同构建中国当下设计“新文化”内涵.
