赤峰市公安局元宝山区分局坚持以“三个代表”重要思想统领公安工作,努力为全区人民创造安全、稳定的社会治安环境,受到元宝山区区委、政府及上级公安机关和广大人民群众的充分肯定和赞扬。曾先后被评为“自治区先进公安局”、“全国优秀公安局”、“自治区人民满意的公安局”;分局党组班子两次荣立集体三等功;2003年,命案侦破率达100％,受到自治区公安厅的表彰和奖励。同时,他们还建立了“警民联系卡”、“服务跟踪卡”和上门服务制度,拉近了警民之间的距离,密切了警民关系。
