高速数字处理器技术与微波固态功率放大器技术的发展使得现代雷达系统采用更加灵活的波形设计变得可行。事实上,波形的选择对雷达系统的整体性能有着巨大的影响。该文回顾了传统的雷达波形设计技术,阐述了包括基于小波波形在内的针对新一代雷达设计的波形,并且分析了新一代雷达波形设计技术如何支持更加灵活多变的应用。该文尝试展示一个这样的事实,为了改善检测性能,雷达波形设计在针对特殊的用途(包括雷达测距和测速)中变得更加重要,从而改进雷达系统的性能和应用范围。
The development of high-speed digital processor technology and microwave solid-state power amplifier technology makes the modern radar system more flexible waveform design feasible. In fact, the choice of waveform has a huge impact on the overall performance of the radar system. This paper reviews the traditional radar waveform design techniques, elaborates on the waveforms for the next generation of radar designs, including those based on wavelet waveforms, and analyzes how the new generation of radar waveform design techniques can support more flexible applications. This paper attempts to demonstrate the fact that in order to improve the detection performance, the radar waveform design becomes more important for specific applications, including radar ranging and speed measurement, to improve the performance and application range of the radar system.
