From the second half of June to the first half of July, there are two lively goodies in American politics. Both of these operas are performed in Philadelphia - the first city in Philadelphia, Philadelphia, Delia, and the United States where the first Constituent Assembly was held. The first good show this time is the Republican National Assembly; it was held on June 24 and it has launched Dewey for this year’s Republican presidential candidate, with Warren being the Republican vice presidential candidate people. The second good show, to be held on July 12, is the Democratic National Convention and the Democratic presidential and vice presidential candidates. I used the mood of a foreign observer to say that the election campaigns of the two U.S. parties are ’two goodies.’ In fact, speaking of the current political situation in the United States, clamoring and hilarity are some of the conventions between the two parties. Any sign of ’goodness’ can not be reached. Behind the clamor and bustle, the psychology of the ordinary people in the United States today is like being miserably depressed and drifting. I do not know where their own future is. So, ’good things’ say so much about the political turmoil in the United States today.
