鲎试剂是从海生动物鲎提取的鲎血细胞溶解物制成的一种冻干试剂。这种试剂可与微量细菌内毒素起凝胶反应,从而用来检测内毒素的一种实验技术,称为鲎试验。近年来国外很多报导普遍认为该法检测内毒素确实是一种快速、简便、灵敏的方法。鲎试验起初应用于诊断病人内毒素血症,随后很快被用于革兰氏阴性细菌脑膜炎,尿路感染等疾病的快速、敏感诊断,以及放射性同位素药品,抗菌素的热原检测,卫生学上也用来检测各种水质和食品污染的程度。引起我们极大兴趣的是 Moaulog 等[1]用鲎试验法对100批输液和放射性药品的热原检查,并用家兔法进行对照,两法符合率达96%;Fumarola 等和Ronnlerger 也进行了对照实验,结果两法完全符合[2];Wachtel 等的报道,认为鲎试验
