我们写《大幕已经拉开》的创作宗旨是:为民说话,为党分优。因此,这个戏可以说是“奉命之作”——奉民之命,奉党之命。党在三中全会以后,扑打着沉重的翅膀,开始了艰难的起飞。尽管沉重,但毕竟张开了翅膀;尽管艰难,但毕竟是在起飞。要知道在这起飞之前的动乱年代,我们党付出了多么巨大的代价;而在这起飞之后短短两三年,我们的祖国又有着多么喜人的变化。正因为如此,我们和全国人民一样,是衷心拥护党的三中全会的方针路线的。特别是三中全会之后经济战线上的巨大变革,更为喜人。这种变革反映了党终于克服了假社会主义的极左思潮,反映了党确实已将人民的利益看得高于一切。这种变革需要雄伟的气魄,需要无畏的勇气,更需要全国人民齐心合力的支持。这是党的愿望,人民的愿望,也是我们剧作者的愿望。在《大幕已经拉开》里,虽然笨拙地然而是真实地反映了我们这一愿望。这一愿望也就是剧中人物所表达的——要搞真正的社会主义,就一定要把经济搞活; We write “the curtain has been opened,” the creation of the purpose is: to speak for the people, for the superior party. Such change requires magnificent courage, dauntless courage, and concerted support from the people throughout the country. This is the desire of the party, the aspirations of the people and the wishes of our dramatists. In the “curtain has been opened”, although clumsily but truly reflect our aspirations. This desire is also expressed by the characters in the play - to engage in real socialism, we must make the economy invigorated;
