P53 tumor suppressor gene is a gene with the highest correlation with human tumors discovered so far. This gene mutation is the most common gene mutation in human tumors, with an incidence of about 50% [1]. We investigated the serological and immunohistochemical detection of P53 protein in 47 patients with gastrointestinal cancer who underwent surgical treatment from January 1999 to March 2000.
