佛手为常用中药,早在《本草纲目》中就有记载,其功效为舒肝理气、和胃止痛。来源于芸香科植物佛手Citrus medical L.var.sarcodactylis Swingle的干燥果实。秋季果实尚未变黄或变黄时采收,纵切成薄片,干燥即得。近年来,四川地区少数药店销售佛手伪品——佛手瓜片Sechiumedule(jaca)Swartz和小佛手片,故对其真伪进行实验研究,以便鉴别。
