口语表达能力无论对于英语专业学生的就业还是在跨文化交际过程中做到游刃有余都非常重要。维果茨基提出的最近发展区理论对二语习得(SLA)模式下的英语口语教学产生了积极的启示作用,该理论对英语口语教学具有一定的实际意义。教师要促使学生达到下一个阶段的英语口语水平,就应意识到学生目前所处的英语口语发展水平,运用有效的教学方法激活学生的最近发展区,帮助学生顺利地达到更高的英语口语发展区域。
Oral English skills are very important for employment of English majors or for ease of cross-cultural communication. The VZ theory proposed by Vygotsky has a positive enlightenment on Oral English Teaching in Second Language Acquisition (SLA). This theory has some practical significance for Oral English teaching. To make students reach the next stage of oral English, teachers should be aware of the current level of oral English development, use effective teaching methods to activate the student’s recent development zone, and help students successfully achieve higher oral English development area.
