This is based on sound and comprehensive investigations and studies. The traditional working methods have not been fully satisfied and groundwater research needs to be infused with new technologies. Emerging Computer Information Technology 3S technology and PDA technology have become more and more widely used in groundwater investigation and research in recent years due to their scientific, efficient and convenient features. They are also gradually occupying an increasingly important position in groundwater research.
