Sponsored by China Association for Science and Technology, a joint organization of 15 societies, including China Society of Hydraulic Engineering, China Geophysics, Earthquake Engineering and Civil Engineering, convened the “National Seminar on Mitigation of Natural Disasters” in Beijing from October 21 to 25, 1990.
