朱志荣对古代文论现代性问题一方面进行了理论思索,其基本观点为:在全球化视野中以“历史意识与当代意识统一”的史识观念建构古代文论体系;另一方面则将理论思索付诸于实践。朱志荣关于古代文论现代性的思考和实践实质上是对全球化进程中中国文学和文论如何生存与发展的一种前瞻性设计,不仅具有重大的理论意义,而且具有里程碑式的现实意义。
