Gregory Manchuan is Professor of Economics at Harvard University and has taught subjects in macroeconomics, microeconomics, statistics and economics. His latest textbook, Principles of Economics, is considered in the Western world as “the most hopeful book in university publications.” This is because his genius and his efforts in educating the public about economics and in economics are gaining a good reputation both in economics and in the general public. His reputation for writing textbooks stems in part from earlier, extremely successful Macroeconomics (New York: Worth Press, 1992). This book not only achieved great success in the United States, but also has a worldwide reputation: it has been translated into French, German, Italian, Japanese, Chinese, Portuguese, Russian and Spanish.
