1990年4月18日,党中央、国务院宣布了浦东开发开放的伟大战略决策,经过20年的开发开放建设,一个现代化、外向型、多功能的新浦东在黄浦江东岸初步建成。地区生产总值从20年前的60多亿增加到当前的4000亿,各类金融机构达603家,港口集装箱年吞吐量已达2100万标箱,浦东机场的年货邮吞吐量超过250万吨,浦东已成为上海建设国际金融、航运、贸易中心的核心功能区域。浦东的城市形态见证了浦东一年一个样的基础设施建设;浦东人的神态体现了先行先试、勇于创新的浦东精神;浦东新区的生态更是人与自然和谐相处的最佳选择。20年的辉煌历程令人自豪,而那些细小的足迹有时更使人难以忘怀,从以下一组文章中,我们似乎又听到了浦东开发开放的春潮之声。
On April 18, 1990, the Party Central Committee and the State Council announced the great strategic decision of opening up and opening to the outside world in Pudong. After 20 years of development and opening up, a new, modern, export-oriented and multi-functional Pudong New City was initially built on the east bank of the Huangpu River. The GDP has increased from over 6 billion in 20 years ago to the present 400 billion with 603 financial institutions of all kinds. The annual throughput of port containers has reached 21 million TEUs, and the annual cargo handling throughput of Pudong Airport has exceeded 2.5 million tons Pudong has become Shanghai’s core functional area for building an international financial, shipping and trading center. The urban form of Pudong witnessed a kind of infrastructure construction in Pudong a year. The Pudong people’s demeanor demonstrated Pudong’s pioneering pioneering and innovative spirit. The ecological environment of Pudong New Area is the best choice for harmonious coexistence between man and nature. We are very proud of the glorious 20 years of history, and those small footprints are sometimes more unforgettable.
