In 2010, the world’s largest building enterprises rank the top of the list. Chinese contractors are among the best in the list and have dominated the top 10 list of construction companies. Chris Sleight reports. French contractors have dominated the list of the world’s largest building companies since “International Construction” began in the late 1990s, starting with Bouygues followed by Vinci, followed by the merger of GTM and SGE in 2000.
