Charlotte Bronte, in Jane Eyre, created a new woman who pursued independence and self-reliance and was praised as the first woman to pursue independent personality in the history of British literature. Different from Robinson’s “isolated” and “absolute self-sufficient” self, Jane Eyre’s self-awareness is dynamically generated in both sexes, family groups and religious beliefs and is based on the “ Self-subject ”and“ other’s subject ”interaction, on the basis of equal consultation, is an inter-subjective self. Charlotte’s concept of the subject surpassed the era of her life, with the color of contemporary subject philosophy.
