Introduction With the extensive development of bauxite resources, fewer and fewer aluminum-rich ore. The use of poor aluminum ore or alumina from the recovery of complex minerals gradually been valued. Research on the extraction of alumina from such raw materials not only helps to expand the sources of raw materials, but also achieves the purpose of comprehensive utilization of resources and disposal of wastes. This article describes the expansion of test results for the recovery of alumina from a bauxite concentrate. This test is carried out in the pilot plant with the help of Shandong Aluminum Plant Research Institute. The continuous experiment lasted 25 days, verified the laboratory results, and focused on the main operations such as raw material formula, clinker firing and dissolution and separation, and made preliminary economic estimates.
