On October 25, 2016, China Guangdong Power Construction Co., Ltd. formally signed EPC contract for the METEKHI 37 MW hydropower station project in Georgia. This is the second hydropower contract to be completed by China’s Guangdong Powerhouse in Georgia in 2016 following the DOLRA-3 hydroelectric power station.
