海内外图情界的相互交流由来已久,交流形式也是多种多样、丰富多彩——图书馆之间互派访问学者、专业学会之间互邀出席会议、更有世界性的国际图联大会等,大大开拓了我们的视野。对于国人而言,有机会亲赴海外者毕竟还是太少,绝大多数的国人还是通过资讯来了解海外图情事业的发展状况的。为此,本刊与e线图情(http://www.chinalibs.net)从2006年第3期起合办“海外采风”栏目,希望有助于读者更加深入、系统地了解海外图情事业发展状况。
