The educational problems of rural children left behind by parents who have migrated to the cities in search of better jobs have drawn much attention. The article uses a case study as a main research method to analyze the young "left-behind" peo- ple’s educational problems, showing that countermeasures of government policies, social assistance and other measures can settle many of the problems currently being experienced.
