2003年教育部颁发了《普通高中体育与健康课程标准(实验)》,从2004年秋季开始先在广东、山东、海南和宁夏4省区进行实验,今年将扩大到10个省。到2007年秋季,原则上从高中起始年级开始将全面推行新课标。为帮助广大体育教师和教研员学习和了解新课标,推进体育与健康课程教学改革的深入发展,本刊特邀课程标准研制组的专家撰稿,就有关对新课标的认识与理解;对新课标实验的建议;学校实验新课标的组织与管理;如何编制学校实施新课标的方案;学生选项学习的指导方法;学生的学习评价与学分管理;课程资源的开发与利用;体育教师实施新课标遇到的问题及解决办法等内容,分别介绍给大家。
