党的十四大确定以社会主义市场经济作为我国经济体制改革的目标模式,这是建设有中国特色的社会主义理论和实践的重大突破,具有深远的历史意义。在这一战略决策的指引下,我国的对外经济关系必将进入一个新的发展阶段。建立和完善社会主义市场经济体制,意味着我国和国际的经济交流,也是尽快实现社会主义市场经济这个目标模式所必需的。从这一点来看,十四大提出扩大对外开放,就更为重要了。
The 14th National Congress of the Communist Party of China has set the socialist market economy as the target model of China’s economic restructuring. This is a major breakthrough in building socialism theory and practice with Chinese characteristics and has far-reaching historical significance. Under the guidance of this strategic decision, our country’s foreign economic relations are bound to enter a new stage of development. Establishing and perfecting the socialist market economic system means that economic exchanges between our country and the rest of the world are also necessary for realizing the objective model of a socialist market economy as soon as possible. From this point of view, it is all the more important that the 14th CPC Congress put forward the proposal of expanding opening to the outside world.
