日前,我省图书馆界很多同志在研究图书登记改革问题。特别是在五月克山业务研究会上,对这一问题进行了热烈地讨论。会后,七台河市图书馆已取消了个别登录号,克山县图书馆也提出了改革方案。因此,从理论上提出图书登记改革的必要,在实践上提出妥善地改革方法,是今天图书馆工作的需要。我们就此谈几点意见。首先,我们认为今天研究图书登记改革,必须是有利于为四个现代化服务,有利于为实现图书馆的现代化做准备。图书登记改革不仅涉及图书财产的完整性,而且是和其他业务工作环节紧密联系在一起的,同样是牵一发动全身的业务环节。因此,不能孤立地看待图书登记,从而采取轻率的做法,以至造成不利于图书馆业务建设的后果。其次,要对现行登记制度进行改革,就必须明确现行登记制度的利弊,才能保留长处,弃除短处,使之完善。回顾我国图书馆图书登记制度和方法的沿革,对于认识今天的图书 Recently, many of our province’s library sector are studying the issue of book registration reform.
