According to statistics, the death toll from mining accidents in the United States dropped from 242 in 1978 to 34 in 2009, of which 18 were killed in coal mines throughout the year and 16 were killed in metal-and-metal mines throughout the year, setting a record for occupational accidents in U.S. mines 1910) since the best level. The U.S. Bureau of Mine Safety and Health (MSHA) attaches great importance to improving mine safety in the United States by promulgating targeted and effective laws and regulations, strengthening education and training, and providing strong technical support. This issue introduces the safety recommendations made by the Mine Safety and Health Administration of the United States to miners and enterprises in response to winter fire and explosion protection, rock powder awareness and mine ventilation.
