用纸层析结合显色反应初步鉴定了芥蓝,白菜,菜心劣变种子中的荧光泄漏物质,发现它们均含有Rf值、显色反应与芥子碱相同的化合物,根据芥子碱在pH>10时转变为黄色,最大吸收波长为388nm的特征,利用光密度测定法检验该类种子活力,并计算两者之间的相关系数,其r分别为-0.92,-0.81和-0.81,实验表明,用光密度(388nm)测定法检测这些种子活力是可行的,并且比荧光观测法灵敏,快速,准确。
