习语研究是英语学习中最令人神往但又最棘手的课题,因为习语是英语民族所特有的任意性的语言手段和表达方式。本文的“介词一名词”词组在词法上分为六类。在对这六类词组逐类作深层分析的基础上,本文进而探讨了并在结论部分证实了改变“介词一名词”词组结构俾以灵活应用的可能性。这是一次对传统习语理论提出质疑并予以更新的尝试。 Idiom studies are the most fascinating and difficult subjects in English learning because idioms are arbitrary language means and expressions that are unique to English-speaking peoples. The phrase “prepositions and nouns” is divided into six categories in terms of lexical. Based on the deep analysis of these six kinds of class by class, this paper explores and concludes the possibility of changing the phrase structure of “prepositions and nouns” for flexible application. This is an attempt to challenge the traditional idiom theory and update it.
