根据信道的动态变化选择适当的发送速率是802.11网络中提高系统性能的一个重要问题。近年来效果较好的是基于误帧率等统计特性的速率自适应算法,如Robust Rate Adaptation Algorithm(RRAA),但若参数选择不当,可能使速率选择机制不断交替选择最佳速率和误帧率极高的相邻高速率,形成速率抖动,导致吞吐量明显降低。文中提出了一种抗抖动的RRAA算法AF-RRAA。该算法既具有RRAA的优点,又能及时发现并制止发送速率频繁抖动。仿真结果表明,该机制可以适应不同的信道,有效地避免了速率抖动,提高了吞吐量。
Choosing the proper transmission rate according to the dynamic change of the channel is an important issue in improving the system performance in the 802.11 network. Simulation results show that this mechanism can adapt to different channels, effectively avoiding rate jitter and improving throughput.
