采用常规人工杂交育种技术,以夜花型热带睡莲柔毛齿叶睡莲(Nymphaea lotus var.pu-bescens)为母本,埃及白睡莲(Nymphaea lotus)为父本,进行杂交。获得杂交种子821粒,育成F1植株408株,经过对其F1代的分离观察,从中筛选出4个性状优良的单株,并采用无性繁殖形成无性系。通过与父母本主要观赏性状的比较,这4个优良无性系在花色、花径、叶色等方面优于父母本或别具特色,具有较高的观赏性。品种性状特征描述按国际睡莲新品种登陆的标准进行,色彩描述采用国际花卉新品种登陆通用的英国皇家园艺学会色谱2003年版。
Using conventional artificial breeding techniques, Nymphaea lotus var. Pu-bescens was used as female parent and Nymphaea lotus was crossed as male parent. 821 hybrid seeds were obtained and 408 F1 plants were bred. After isolating and observing F1 progenies, 4 elite plants were screened and cloned by clonal propagation. Compared with parents’ main ornamental traits, the four excellent clones had better ornamental characteristics in flower color, flower diameter and leaf color than those of their parents.
