本通報自去年創刊以來,在全园科聯的全力扶助,以及作者和讀者的热心支持下,已經刊行了一卷計八期五册。第二卷原擬於今年繼續刊行,但由於‘三反’運動的開展,發刊計劃既待重加考虑,因而問世時日便也随之延緩了。這其間,在科聯方面,對於本通報經費的補助,因等待中央人民政府文教委员會的指示,沒有能够及早决定下來;而本通報的编者,作者和讀者也因投身入於這一偉大運動中,而使編輯工作不得不暂形停顿。直至五月十一日,科聯才召集本通報與‘中國教學雜誌’,‘化學’和‘中國植物學雜誌’四刊物的編輯負責人,以及各學會的代表,開一聯合編輯會議,轉達文教委員會的指示,確定四刊物
Since the publication of this circular last year, with the full support of CUC and the ardent support of authors and readers, this circular has published a volume of eight volumes of eight volumes.
