Let M be an n dimensional complete Riemannian manifold satisfying the doublingvolume property and an on-diagonal heat kernel estimate. The necessary-sufficientcondition for the Sobolev inequality ‖f‖q ≤ Cn,,v,p,q(‖▽f‖p+‖fp) (2≤p＜q＜∞) is given.
