均衡器的一个重要参数是AWGN信道的噪声功率,它的准确度会影响均衡器的性能。提出了一种改进的AWGN噪声功率估计方法,该算法利用信道估计模块得到的信道响应信息,从接收的总噪声中减去符号间干扰功率和多用户之间的信号干扰功率,从而准确估计AWGN信道的噪声功率。仿真结果表明,提出的方法能显著提高线性最小均方误差(LMMSE)均衡器的性能,在误码块率(BLER)为8%时,性能约有1dB的改善。
An important parameter of the equalizer is the noise power of the AWGN channel, whose accuracy affects the performance of the equalizer. An improved AWGN noise power estimation method is proposed. It uses the channel response information obtained by the channel estimation module to subtract the inter-symbol interference power and multi-user signal interference power from the received total noise to accurately estimate the AWGN Channel noise power. The simulation results show that the proposed method can significantly improve the performance of linear least mean square error (LMMSE) equalizer, and the performance is about 1dB improvement at 8% bit error rate (BLER).
