Yunnan is known as “Colorful Yunnan”, but due to various factors, its economic potential has not yet been fully released and the level of economic and social development is still lagging behind in the whole country. As one of the provinces and autonomous regions in western China, the research team chose to conduct a field survey on the implementation of the strategy of western development in Yunnan Province, located in the southwestern border area.
