世界石油大会于1933年在英国伦敦成立,全称为“世界石油大会——石油科技经济管理论坛”。目前共有47个成员国,多为石油生产国和消费国。该组织每四年召开一次大会(第14届大会起每三年召开一次)。我国于1979年加入世界石油大会组织。
The World Petroleum Congress was established in London in 1933, all called “World Petroleum Conference - Petroleum Science and Technology Economic Management Forum.” There are currently 47 member countries, mostly oil-producing countries and consuming countries. The organization meets every four years (every three years since the fourteenth congress). China joined the World Petroleum Congress in 1979.
