一、内蒙古是西部大开发的重要组成部分 西部即指西北西南的广大地区。这些地区共有的特点是地域辽阔,资源丰富,民族聚居,经济落后,其核心特征是经济落后。内蒙古无论从地理位置、资源开发潜能,还是从经济发展水平、民族安定团结等角度讲,都和西部各省(自治区)有着相同或相近的特征,应当成为西部大开发的重要组成部分。 (一)内蒙古的地理特征决定其应当入围西部大开发。
First, Inner Mongolia is an Important Component of Western Development The western region refers to the vast area of northwest and southwest China. Common to all these areas are their vast territories, rich resources, ethnic minorities and backward economy. Their core feature is their backward economy. Inner Mongolia has the same or similar features as the western provinces (autonomous regions) in terms of its geographical location, potential for resource development, or its economic development and national stability and unity, and should become an important part of the western development. (1) Inner Mongolia’s geographical characteristics determine that it should be short-listed for the development of the western region.
