Reduced body temperature is a pathological condition, such as without treatment, may be due to the occurrence of metabolic changes and death. Two age groups in society are particularly vulnerable to cold damage, namely newborns and the elderly. Human is a warm-blooded animal, that is, despite the dramatic temperature changes in the environment; his body temperature remains constant. Body temperature balance is the balance of heat and heat to maintain. As measured by adult standards, neonates have excessive heat. This is due to the anatomical features: weight is only 5% of adult weight, while the body surface area is 15% of adults. Neonates and the elderly suffer from inadequate chills and lack of heat (seniors are unresponsive but still chills - translator’s note).
