我国大陆第一条海底隧道——厦门翔安海底隧道历时4年多的建设,已全线贯通。该隧道全长8.695km,隧道最深在海平面下约70m,完全由我国自主设计、施工。设计使用寿命100年。它的贯通对于探索适合我国国情的海底隧道建造技术,为类似工程的动工兴建,具有里程碑式的意义。据悉,该隧道由两条行车主洞和一条服务中孔构成。主洞宽17.2m,高12m,可同时行驶3辆车。贯通后,厦门岛与翔安区的车程将由1.5h缩短至8min,大大推动海峡西岸经济区的开
The first submarine tunnel in mainland China - Xiamen Xiang’an Subsea Tunnel lasted more than 4 years of construction, has been completed. The tunnel length of 8.695km, the deepest tunnel at sea level about 70m, entirely by our own design and construction. Design life of 100 years. Its penetration is of milestone significance for exploring the construction technology for the undersea tunnel that suits our national conditions and starting construction for similar projects. It is reported that the tunnel consists of two main driving holes and a service hole. The main hole is 17.2m wide and 12m high, allowing 3 cars to travel at the same time.
