“度”是一个非常重要的哲学范畴,它体现着事物质和量的对立统一,是划分质量转化的根本标志.但是,对这一范畴本身所固有的辩证属性,特别是其数量界限的复杂多样性、动态过程中所呈现的相对性的研究,尚有待于进一步深入.质的定量和限量的统一度是和事物相联系的,是事物存在的度,它构成事物内部质和量的对比关系.因此,度作为保待事物质的相对稳定性的数量界限,是一种特殊的量,既是对应事物量的变化的定量,又是事物质的变化的限量.度是事物保持质的稳定性的一种定量.黑格尔称它为“有质的定量”、“是具有特定存在或质的定量.”①在度的范围内,质和量相互结合、相互规定,度表现为一系列大小不等的与质相统一的量的等级,反映出事物发展过程中一系列不同的质量统一的程度.
