本文独辟联径从特定的角度探讨了邓小平关于改革开放思维创造模式形成的客观基础与个性品质。本文认为，邓小平的改革开放思维创造模式的形成，除了有其深厚的社会历史背景、特殊的个体实践基础、思维历史渊源以外，屯与他所具有的优良个性品质、诸如创造的勇气与意志、热情与信念，创新意识与独立意识，忧患激励意识与现代意识等品质是分不开的，从而揭示了邓小平的改革开放思维创造模式乃至整个邓小平理论“是马克思主义同当代中国实践和时代特征结合起来的”、“第二次历史性飞跃的理论成果”（十五大报告语），体现了历史的客观发展与邓小平自身思维个性品质的逻辑发展的内在统一性。
