一国领导人在国外大学的演讲是向所访问国年轻一代传达本国文化和外交政策等信息的一个重要途径,此种文体的语篇结构和主题思想都较为正式、中肯,典型地体现本国特有的思维方式,而思维方式的差异正是我们英语演讲教学研究的一个重要方面,笔者选取中美领导人两篇演讲为例进行对比研究,从二者论证思维不同点入手,以期能为英语演讲教学提供一定的启示与帮助。 The speech of a leader of a country in a foreign university is an important way to convey information on its own culture and foreign policy to the younger generation in the country visited.
