本文论述了列夫·托尔斯泰《复活》中玛丝洛娃与西蒙松结合走上革命道路的必然性 ,及这一归宿的思想意义 ,指出玛丝洛娃与聂赫留朵夫作为来自两个不同阶级的人物形象 ,其思想意识 ,性格特征均有本质的差别。聂对玛并没有真正的爱 ,只是出自怜悯和同情 ,以及对自己过去所犯罪行的忏悔 ;而玛对聂也不可能产生真正的爱 ,只是被其抛弃一切为自己辩冤的行为所感动 ,因而是注定不能“大团圆”的。而革命者西蒙松则是以平等的、真挚的爱对待玛丝洛娃 ,在与革命者的接触中使玛理解了革命 ,并衷心向往革命 ,因而她最终离开聂而与西蒙松结合就是必然的。玛丝洛娃的归宿说明俄国自上而下的农奴制改革并不能使劳动人民获得解放 ,要获得真正的、彻底的解放 ,必须走革命的道路
