所谓杜诗中的“戏题剧论”,见于〔唐〕樊晃的《杜工部小集序》:“江左词人所传诵者,皆公之戏题剧论耳。曾不知君有大雅之作,当今一人而已。”———被认为是不同于杜诗中“大雅之作”的篇什,显然并非揄扬之语,但也不是贬抑之词。本文根据一些史料试论:这种“戏题剧论”应包括什么样的作品。并归结为:在一定的历史阶段,只知杜诗有“戏题剧论”而不知其有“大雅之作”的现象,说明杜诗给诗学带来新的元素,开始并不为诗坛所接受,需要相当的理解时间。并联系杜诗的“历史命运”,结合传布情况,讨论杜诗的“命运三叠”现象:“唐代忽视(但有发现者);宋代重视(但有反对者);明清审视(而有苛责者)”。
