目前,施工企业正处在国家加快经济建设步伐、扩大改革开放、全面建设小康社会、建设社会主义市场经济的历史新阶段。然而其思想政治工作还没有完全从过去的老套路中转变过来,还没有从思想上自觉地把工作的重点放在工程现场,自觉不自觉地脱离企业实际,游离于生产边缘,工程现场的思想政治工作基本上处于一种各行其是、放任自流的状态。如何在自身高度分散,工作任务繁重,管理难度大的情况下加强和改进思想政治工作,是摆在企业思想政治工作者面前的重要课题。
