59 bronze artifacts from the Fenshuiling cemetery of Eastern Zhou period were analyzed by means of the ICP-AES and metallographic microscope.The results indicate that the bronze-making techniques of that time were rather mature and there may have been the technological standardization and manufacture of bronzes.The high tin content in most of the artifacts shows that the supply of tin was very plentiful.In addition,skilled artisans had mastered the casting technique of adding lead in the molding process by the Eastern Zhou period.
