运用ProCAST对空调压缩机前盖挤压铸造工艺进行仿真分析,预测到当浇注温度为660℃,模具预热温度为200℃,充型速度为150mm/s,挤压压力为70MPa时,铸件在充型过程中出现卷气及缩孔缺陷。试验结果表明,降低充型速度可以使充型过程金属液液面高度差减小,当充型速度降低至100mm/s时,卷气缺陷得以消除;增大挤压压力及升高模具预热温度都有助于缩孔减少,但调整后中心孔部位仍有缩孔出现,将中心孔部位在浇注过程中预留一定挤压余量进行二次加压后缩孔缺陷消除。
ProCAST is used to simulate the squeeze casting process of air conditioner compressor front cover.
