On August 5 and 6, the major news media in the Central Government reported the advanced deeds of Academicians Liu Xianlin, arousing strong repercussions in the surveying and mapping industry. Cadres and workers in various units and the surveying and mapping circles all organized forums and talked about the experiences of studying Liu Xianlin.
