01北京:会展老大京城由于其特殊地位,一直是中国会展城市中的老大,展览总面积居全国之首,展会规模、档次全国领先。预计到2010年,北京展览市场总规模将达近40亿元。北京举办的展览会以经济技术类为主,在全国率先形成了中国会展产业的雏形。但由于现有展馆超负荷运转,设施严重老化,使得京城急需建大展馆的问题日显突出。据统计,北京每年的国际展已达250多个。在具备举办大型国际展览资格的全国近250家展览公司中,北京就占据了一半多。
01 Beijing: The capital of the convention and exhibition capital has always been the largest of China’s convention and exhibition cities because of its special status. The total exhibition area ranks first in the country, and the scale and grade of the exhibition are leading in the country. It is estimated that by 2010, the total scale of the Beijing exhibition market will reach nearly 4 billion yuan. The exhibitions held in Beijing are mainly economic and technical. They form the embryonic form of China’s exhibition industry. However, due to the overloaded operation of existing exhibition halls and the severe aging of facilities, the problem of urgent need of the Jianda Exhibition Hall in the capital has become increasingly prominent. According to statistics, there are more than 250 international exhibitions in Beijing each year. Among the nearly 250 exhibition companies in China that are qualified to hold large-scale international exhibitions, Beijing accounts for more than half.
