乡镇企业的蓬勃发展,对繁荣我国的农村经济作出了巨大的贡献。然而,由于劳动保护工作的薄弱,随之带来的职业危害、环境污染等问题亦非常严重。近些年来,相当一部分乡镇企业的负责人或承包经营者片面追求经济效益,对于职业危害置若罔闻,不管不问,因而,使乡镇企业职工的健康受到严重危害,有的甚至付出了惨重的代价。
The vigorous development of township and village enterprises has made tremendous contributions to the prosperity of our country’s rural economy. However, due to the weak labor protection work, the consequent occupational hazards and serious environmental pollution problems, In recent years, a considerable number of township and village enterprises responsible persons or contractors have unilaterally pursued economic benefits, turning a blind eye to occupational hazards, regardless of their needs, thus seriously harming the health of the employees in township enterprises and some even paying a heavy price.
