大革命以后,失去了法律特权保护的法国旧贵族经历了一系列自我变革的历史过程。在一系列变革中,最本质最具有决定意义的是随着资本主义生产方式的发展行进,贵族的经济优势发生不可逆转的动摇。这迫使贵族投资资本主义工商业或改变土地经营方式,以寻求自身生存发展和更新的出路。贵族经济利益的多元化、资本主义化,促使贵族与其他社会阶层发生广泛的经济关系与社会关系,原来封闭的以血统为界定的贵族阶层最终消失在这与其它社会成员的普遍联系与同化之中。
After the Great Revolution, the old French aristocracy, which had lost its legal privilege, underwent a series of historical processes of self-transformation. In a series of changes, the most essential and decisive factor is that as the capitalist mode of production develops, the aristocracy’s economic superiority is irreversibly shaken.
