学习动机是直接推动学生进行学习的心理动因,激励学生学习的强大动力,是第二语言习得成功的关键因素。激发和培养学生的英语学习动机,充分发挥学生学习的积极性和主动性,对英语教学具有十分重要的意义。本文针对高职学生英语基础普遍偏差,英语学习积极性不高这一现状,结合了应用语言学动机理论和几年的英语教学实践,对如何在英语教学中激发学生学习动机提出几点建议。
Learning motivation is a direct motivation for students to learn, motivating students to learn a powerful driving force is the key factor in the success of second language acquisition. To stimulate and cultivate students’ English learning motivation and to give full play to their enthusiasm and initiative in English learning is of great significance to English teaching. This article aims at the general situation of English majors in higher vocational colleges and the low enthusiasm of learning English. This article combines the motivation theory of applied linguistics and English teaching practice for several years to make some suggestions on how to stimulate students’ learning motivation in English teaching.
