“公交化是农村客运发展的一个方向,是以人为本,科学发展观的需要,是社会主义新农村建设的需要,对帮助农村居民出行,提高乘车质量有很大帮助。我们理解的田园公交即农村客运公交化。”交通运输部科学研究院城市交通研究中心副主任吴洪洋说。在他看来,城市公交由于其经过了长期的发展和运营,已经积累了一定的经验、管理措施以及相应的应急方案,对田园公交的开展有很大的参考意义。根据吴洪洋的梳理,与田园公交相比,城市公交的经验主要表现在以下几个方面:1)城市公交具有很高的可达性、接近性。公交线路网可以覆盖到城市中较狭窄的街道以及相对远的郊区,同时小型公共汽车也逐渐发展起来,缩短了居民出行的步行距离,极大地方便了居民的出行。
